          Serendipity in Green

Over four thousand years ago, emeralds were discovered on the western shores of the Red Sea in Egypt. As the King of Green Gems, emerald symbolizes power, wisdom, and beauty with its unique color and charm. The ancient Egyptians regarded emerald as a symbol of life and rebirth. Cleopatra VII had a particular fondness for emeralds; she not only named her favorite emerald mine after herself but also frequently wore emerald jewelry. Furthermore, she rewarded deserving individuals with the finest emeralds for their service to the nation.
AET REMOULD feels a profound resonance with emeralds, stemming from their rich history and deep cultural significance. As a brand dedicated to perfect craftsmanship and enduring value, we view emeralds as a source of inspiration. We have decided to breathe new life into our timepieces, not only showcasing the exquisite beauty of emeralds but also honoring their spiritual connection to ancient legends.

AET REMOULD selects natural gemstones from the depths of the earth, serving not only as masterpieces of nature but also as witnesses to the passage of time. These rare minerals undergo billions of years of sedimentation and refinement, only to give birth to such magnificent and dazzling crystalline formations within the Earth's crust. These minerals undergo more than 50 stringent selection criteria, meticulously chosen by gemologists with over 20 years of experience. The gemstones on the dial and bezel, with their deep color and luster, bring an unparalleled visual impact to the timepiece.

Gemstone setting is not just a display of technique but also the creation of art. The new timepiece features 12 trapezoid-cut natural gemstones on the dial and 28 on the bezel. Each gemstone undergoes meticulous arrangement and precise setting to ensure both durability and aesthetics. Compared to the common circular bezel setting for gemstones, the new timepiece's octagonal bezel imposes higher requirements on the polishing and arrangement angles of the gemstones. During the production process, the astonishingly high rate of gemstone wastage reaches up to 50%.

Facing the challenge of bezel ceramic material, AET REMOULD's team of designers and engineers engaged in three months of in-depth discussions and repeated experiments. They successfully pioneered the world's first Ceramic Invisible Gemstone Setting (CIGS) technology, ultimately overcoming this obstacle. This is a highly demanding technique that tests patience and skill. All operations must be conducted under a microscope, and on average, it takes 600 hours of meticulous work to complete the setting of each bezel.

AET REMOULD's second-generation HTP ceramic not only boasts pure color and uniform texture but also possesses extraordinary hardness and wearer comfort. Its exceptional properties perfectly complement natural gemstones. The new timepiece is crafted using second-generation HTP ceramic technology from the case to the strap. The dual craftsmanship of Satin-brushing and Runyu polishing further enhances the watch's texture, providing wearers with an unparalleled sense of luxury and a soft touch akin to the feel of skin.
